Top SchoolAndreas Geiger is a Senior Signal Processing Engineer with 10 years of experience translating complex data into robust, product-ready algorithms and embedded software. A MATLAB specialist with a strong background in defense engineering and molecular imaging, he has driven improvements across multiple product lines and helped launch seven new products while securing roughly $1M in external R&D funding. His PhD work fused optical instrumentation, Fourier analysis, and machine learning to produce patentable innovations and peer-reviewed publications, showing an unusual blend of hands-on lab experimentation and algorithmic modeling. Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams, he builds GUIs and automated test rigs to accelerate manufacturing and failure analysis, turning large datasets into actionable design corrections. Known for clear technical communication, he also brings practical C/C++ embedded experience that bridges research prototypes to fielded systems.
