Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndreas Kirchner is a senior IT leader and functional manager based in Vienna with 15 years of experience designing and operating secure digital banking platforms. He combines a rare mix of philosophy and computer science—holding degrees in both fields—with deep hands-on expertise in mobile banking, authentication services, and DevSecOps. At Credit Suisse he led secure coding initiatives, open banking and microservice adoption, and continues to drive security architecture and risk reduction across online banking. As a founder and former CTO of a fintech startup, he pairs product instincts with technical leadership to ship customer-facing apps and embedded PSD2 capabilities. Known for fostering hacker culture, internal hackathons, and cross-border team building, he also mentors developers and shapes organizational practices that reduce technical and process debt. Practical, interdisciplinary, and security-first, he bridges research, engineering and product to make complex banking systems resilient and maintainable.
