Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndreas Schmidt is a cloud security architect and Head of Product Management for IT Cloud Engineering with over a decade of hands-on experience designing Zero‑Trust architectures and automating secure public cloud adoption. He builds platform engineering roadmaps that standardize governance, embed security early in the SDLC via Infrastructure as Code and automated CD pipelines, and simplify developer access across Azure and AWS. Technically fluent with Terraform, Vault, Kubernetes and native cloud policy tooling, he combines CISSP‑level security review practices with practical DevSecOps delivery. His background spans leadership and founding roles—CTO and tech lead for IoT and startup initiatives—bringing product mindset to infrastructure. Based in the Cologne–Bonn region, he pairs conceptual strategy with low-level curiosity, often returning to C and RISC‑V assembler in his spare time. Not available for freelancing or contracting.
