Top SchoolAndreas Terrius is a Senior Software Engineer based in Jakarta with 11 years of industry experience and a strong focus on building resilient distributed systems. He has led reliability and delivery improvements at Traveloka, Shopee, and PayPay by implementing CI/CD, containerization, multi-account AWS architectures, and fault-tolerant patterns like circuit breakers and feature toggles. Comfortable across backend stacks (Java/Kotlin, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and deployment tooling (Gradle/CMake, blue-green/canary), he constantly optimizes for low latency and high availability under heavy traffic. An individual contributor who drives architectural change, he pairs pragmatic engineering with observability and cost-conscious infrastructure work. Outside of production systems, he pursues graphics programming and raytracer projects, revealing a passion for performance and low-level problem solving.
