Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrei Băicuș is a Lead Developer based in Bucharest with 10 years of experience building and shipping WordPress products, developer tooling, and polished front-end experiences. At Themeisle he moved from frontend and full‑stack roles to leading the Optimole team, creating a Gutenberg-based landing page builder (landingkit.io), multiple Full Site Editing themes, and a Shopify theme while owning CI/CD and Pulumi-driven AWS deployments. He combines web engineering with a creative background—film editing, motion graphics, video production and photography—which informs his eye for UX, performance-conscious design, and marketing assets. Comfortable across React, Vue, Svelte, PHP and modern DevOps, he also prototypes product ideas and mentors junior developers. Notably, his work reduced CSS bloat in the popular Neve theme and drove infrastructure automation for high-traffic image delivery services.
