Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrei E is a software engineering manager with 13 years of experience, currently leading engineering efforts in Sonar’s Languages Team where he helps guide 70+ developers and AppSec engineers across autonomous squads. He progressed from hands-on analyst work—owning sonar-dotnet and building Roslyn analyzers—to managing the .NET squad and now running broader team initiatives that improve static analyzers for multiple languages. His background spans full-stack and cloud work at Microsoft and startups, with a strong emphasis on security-minded development (OWASP practices) and high test coverage. Known for growing teams organically and shipping pragmatic vulnerability detection features (including XSS and Razor support), he combines technical depth in static analysis with practical leadership in large, distributed teams. Based in Lausanne, Andrei keeps a private GitHub but links his Sonar contributions publicly, reflecting a focus on impactful internal engineering over personal open-source spectacle.
