Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrei Kirushchanka is a Senior Platform Engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale cloud and OpenStack-based infrastructures, currently building a data-science platform at DTSE. He has led cloud back-end automation and security efforts for thousands of hosts using Ansible, GitLab CI, Terraform and containerized OpenStack, and recently drove migrations from on-prem OpenShift to GCP while introducing Dagster for orchestration. Comfortable both as a technical lead and a mentor, Andrei combines systems-level hardening and audit-compliance work with Python and CI templating to make complex environments reproducible and maintainable. His background spans telecom-grade operations, research cloud collaborations, and startup delivery, reflecting a rare mix of production reliability and pragmatic engineering. Notably, he has scaled and automated community clouds supporting hundreds of projects and users, bringing that operational experience to shorten data-science teams’ path to production.
