Top SchoolAndrei Kovalevsky is a Senior Software Engineer based in Prague with nine years of professional experience building high-throughput, enterprise-grade systems across finance, cloud media, and hospitality. He has repeatedly modernized legacy Java stacks—rewriting J2EE systems into Spring Boot microservices, introducing reactive streams for parallel processing, and making applications AWS-ready—while also delivering rich front-ends with Angular and custom canvases that handle millions of records. At Barclays he designed a flexible, distributed core for equities trade processing; at Oracle he now contributes to cloud media services; and his background spans backend datastores from Oracle and DB2 to Cassandra and MongoDB. Comfortable across the full stack, Andrei blends systems thinking with pragmatic engineering: performance tuning, scheduler orchestration, and pre-save validation in persistence layers are recurring strengths. Colleagues would note his knack for turning complex, legacy business logic into lightweight, scalable architectures without sacrificing operational observability.
