Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrei Martins is a Senior Data Scientist based in São Paulo with 11 years of experience applying machine learning and experimentation to product and recommendation problems. At Gupy he has progressed from architecting and mentoring data science teams to leading production deployments and bias audits for job seeker ranking models, and previously delivered recommendation and A/B testing wins at PicPay and personalization work at Magazine Luiza. He combines deep technical execution—training deep nets and ensemble models, refactoring algorithms for performance—with cross-functional partnering to turn models into product impact. His background includes an MSc in Information Systems and early experience building industrial monitoring solutions at Petrobras, which gives him a pragmatic systems view when moving models to production. Notably, he has played formal mentoring and academy roles, signaling strength in growing internal data capability beyond individual contributions.
