Top SchoolAndreia Kumpera is a seasoned engineering leader with 15+ years delivering web-scale platforms and building high-performing global teams across product, infrastructure, and design domains. As Director of Engineering at Vista she leads ~40 engineers in the Logo & Brand domain, blending hands-on technical direction with strategic product roadmapping to make design services more accessible to small businesses. Her career spans roles from developer to scrum master and product owner, giving her a rare fluency in both delivery practices and organizational coaching. She has repeatedly driven complex platform initiatives—such as hybrid PaaS and OpenStack integrations—and scaled teams across APAC and Europe while preserving a culture of transparency and continuous learning. Known for mentoring engineers into leadership and for pragmatic cross-functional collaboration, she pairs strong operational discipline (systems, security, budgeting) with creative problem solving. Outside the org chart she brings a curious, adaptive mindset—summed up by a favorite Lewis Carroll quote—that helps teams embrace change and iterate boldly.
