Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndres Arango is a Senior Software Engineer based in Lisbon with nine years of experience building full-stack systems across Android, backend, and web platforms. After a non-linear journey from mechanical engineering and banking into software, he spent seven years at Uber solving scale and cross-platform integration challenges and now helps embed connectivity into products as part of Gigs’ platform team. He combines an engineer’s rigor with product-minded pragmatism, often translating complex systems requirements into reliable, user-facing functionality. Andres’ background as a lifeguard and mechanical engineer surfaces in his calm, safety-first approach to incident response and system design. Always curious, he bridges hardware-rooted problem solving with modern cloud-native development to deliver pragmatic solutions.
