Top SchoolAndres G is a DevOps and cloud engineering leader based in Sydney with over 15 years in IT and eight years focused on cloud, DevOps and data platform delivery. He currently leads DevOps for Data Science & Analytics at Stockland after senior cloud leadership roles at Qantas, APA Group and Westpac, bringing deep practical experience across Azure and AWS, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD. Andres combines hands-on engineering (Python, Golang, Terraform, Kubernetes/ECS) with product ownership and platform strategy, having shifted between builder and steward roles to scale secure, cost-efficient cloud estates. He has a strong history of optimising cloud spend and building tooling to surface inefficiencies, and has led both operational teams and product-led platform initiatives. Known for translating complex architecture into pragmatic runbooks and automation, he pairs technical depth with an operator’s instincts honed across enterprises and high-traffic consumer platforms.
