Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrés Pinzón is an engineering manager with 11 years in tech who cut his teeth as one of the first 20 engineers at Rappi, helping scale core systems across payments, anti-fraud, growth and dispatch. He blends hands-on polyglot engineering—PHP, Kotlin, Python and recently Go—with product-minded leadership, having led dispatch algorithms that optimize rider assignment and order value. His work includes architecting Kafka-based scheduling pipelines, integrating multiple LATAM providers, and shipping rapid high-impact modules (e.g., a tax-day invoicing system) that doubled invoice velocity. Now leading engineering at Yuno after a stint at Lyft, he focuses on reliable, scalable systems and mentoring teams to solve hard operational problems. Based in Mérida, Mexico, he pairs startup resilience with a curiosity for new languages and approaches that keeps his technical perspective fresh.
