Summary
👤
SeniorAndrew Arrow is a Staff Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building scalable systems across IoT, mobile, and web platforms from Culver City. He’s shipped backend services in Go and JVM languages, earlier led Rails work, and has deep production experience with Postgres, Redis/Valkey, and event-driven architectures for large IoT fleets. Andrew has held staff/principal roles at Bird and Pura, co-founded startups, and has acted as a versatile freelance “session musician” engineer for multiple clients, blending product judgment with hands-on delivery. He’s comfortable across the full stack—enjoying Tailwind CSS and mobile (iOS/Android) work—and prefers Go as his day-to-day language. A CS graduate from Pitt, he brings startup-to-scale perspective, having been at early high-growth companies like Yammer and Shopzilla and now focusing on resilient backend systems for connected devices.
