Summary
👤
SeniorAndrew Berg is a Senior Design Technologist with 14 years of experience crafting design systems and turning static UI designs into polished, production-grade components. He’s led front-end architecture and design system efforts at organizations including The Washington Post, Okta, athenahealth, and now Klaviyo, often working side-by-side with designers to deliver documentation, interactive sandboxes, and reusable component APIs. His background blends a fine arts BFA in painting with deep engineering discipline, which informs a pragmatic, human-centered approach to interface polish and developer ergonomics. Known for migrating legacy UIs to portable architectures and choosing frameworks that scale, he thrives on making complex product surfaces feel intuitive and maintainable. Based in Newton, MA, he brings a rare mix of visual sensibility and systems thinking to large-scale web products.
