Top SchoolAndrew Cutts is a seasoned geospatial and Earth Observation specialist with 10+ years delivering GIS, remote sensing and Python-driven solutions across industry and government. Currently shaping long-term strategic BNG mapping at Southern Water, he combines hands-on coding (QGIS plugins, ARD/QA workflows, computer vision on very high-resolution imagery) with tailored training and technical authorship. As a freelancer he has converted proprietary GIS tools to open-source Python, built complex road networks from commercial datasets, and routinely mentors and hires junior talent. He brings a pragmatic blend of consultancy, product prototyping and cloud-scaled EO processing honed in startups and large organisations like Schlumberger. Notably, he pairs public-facing teaching and blogging with behind-the-scenes work improving data workflows and reproducibility for clients and national bodies.
