Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrew Forrest is a seasoned software architect and engineering leader with 13+ years delivering robust, high-performance systems across UX, backend, and infrastructure. As founder and principal consultant at Dramatic Software, he combines hands-on coding—recently working on coding agents and modern Angular/TypeScript migrations—with strategic leadership in security, performance and architecture. He has a track record of driving measurable improvements (reducing maintenance cost via refactors, cutting vulnerability exposure by over 90%, and saving hundreds of annual back-office hours through performance work). Comfortable in both technical and stakeholder-facing roles, he mentors teams on secure, testable, and maintainable designs and has led complex, multi-tenant and real-time systems for utility and logistics sectors. Based in Greater Glasgow, he brings decades of pragmatic cross-stack experience from Smalltalk and Java to microservices and modern front-end frameworks.
