Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrew Griffith is a solutions architect and platform engineer with a decade of experience designing cloud-native data platforms and developer tooling, currently leading architecture at Excella. He combines hands-on engineering—authoring Python libraries and resilient Kafka+Python ingestion pipelines—with strategic alignment of technical delivery to business OKRs, driving scalable self-service analytics for enterprise users. His background spans frontend modernization and accessibility work to backend event-streaming, giving him a rare full-stack fluency that improves both developer experience and stakeholder outcomes. Notably, he has created tools that reduced organizational support loads (a Python AWS data-lake client) and enabled peer-to-peer analyst sharing (an Athena UDF system), demonstrating a focus on pragmatic automation and reuse. Based in Stephenson, VA, he pairs an MS in Management with a creative BFA in Game Design, reflecting both leadership training and product-minded design instincts.
