Top SchoolAndrew Hite is a Principal Frontend Engineer with over 16 years of hands-on experience and a 20+-year career arc building scalable web platforms, modernizing legacy systems, and leading distributed engineering teams. He’s led engineering at startups and growth-stage companies—founding the engineering function at P6 Technologies to build an LCA-based carbon emissions platform and driving ShipEngine products and a reusable design system at Auctane. Comfortable both designing architecture and shipping code, Andrew blends deep front-end expertise (React/TypeScript, design systems) with cloud-native DevOps and infrastructure experience (Terraform, Kubernetes). He excels at recruiting, mentoring, and scaling cross-border teams, having built engineering organizations across the U.S. and Latin America and delivered mission-critical integrations like the PayPal shipping solution. Known for turning complex domain problems into modular, maintainable systems, he favors pragmatic, measurable outcomes that accelerate product-market fit. Based in Round Rock, Texas, he brings founder-level ownership to principal engineering roles and a track record of shipping high-impact, production-ready products.
