Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrew Karp is a Senior DevOps engineer with over 20 years in development and 11 years focused on DevOps, specializing in cloud-native and on-prem infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and Terraform. He blends hands-on backend and telecom experience—Asterisk, Freeswitch and Kamailio—with strong automation and CI/CD practice (Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub) to deliver reliable, scalable systems. His background includes building large-scale telephony and billing platforms, custom WebRTC phone integrations, and Grafana plugin development, showing depth from low-level telephony to observability tooling. Comfortable writing production services in Node.js, PHP and Lua and administering both SQL and NoSQL databases, he often bridges developer and ops teams to turn ideas into automated, auditable deployments. Based in Israel, Andrew pairs systems architecture and team leadership with an engineer’s appetite for pragmatic automation and infrastructure-as-code.
