Top SchoolAndrew Kodkod is a Staff Software Engineer based in Vancouver with over a decade of hands-on experience building web, mobile, and desktop applications and architecting more than 50 projects. He has led and grown small engineering teams, designed multi-million dollar SaaS platforms from the ground up, and modernized legacy monoliths into modular systems with AI-enhanced features. As a former founder and CEO of product and coworking ventures, he brings practical business sensibility to technical decisions and a passion for UX and design. His recent work includes shipping offline-capable mobile apps and AI-driven tooling for field contractors, plus a flexible insurance SaaS that supports dynamic pricing and cross-country product launches. Comfortable across Ruby, Rails, Electron, and modern front-end stacks, he combines full-stack craftsmanship with product-focused architecture. Notably, his career reflects a preference for building product companies rather than outsourcing, driven by a desire to create lasting user value.
