Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrew Kurin is a director-level cloud infrastructure leader with 17+ years of hands-on experience architecting and modernizing scalable, cost-efficient cloud-native platforms. Based in Los Angeles with roots in Ukraine and Israel, he has led teams to transform legacy estates into Kubernetes-first environments, cutting monthly cloud spend by over 40% and slashing ETL runtimes from 20 to 4 hours through BigQuery migrations. He combines engineering depth—Kubernetes, Airflow, CI, observability—with practical governance: cost attribution, automated overrun alerts, and SLO-driven reliability. A former CTO and co-founder, he pairs strategic roadmapping with first-principles technical execution and an emphasis on team empowerment. Notably, he personally rebuilt critical infrastructure components while leading a seven-engineer team, demonstrating a rare blend of operator-level craft and executive leadership.
