Top SchoolAndrew Law is a Senior Software Engineer based in Berkeley with eight years of experience designing infrastructure and web services, currently focused on security and malware-discovery systems at Google. A UC Berkeley EECS MS and CS '20 alum, he has repeatedly combined research-grade systems work (memory-oblivious primitives and federated learning RPCs) with production engineering across YouTube and Google Play Protect. He built low-latency remote dynamic analysis services for Android security and rule systems for YouTube Trust & Safety, demonstrating a blend of distributed systems, security, and low-latency web service engineering. Comfortable shipping from prototype to production, he focuses on observability, scalability, and secure-by-design architecture. Colleagues would note his pattern of turning research ideas into practical infrastructure that empowers security teams to act faster.
