Top SchoolAndrew Montgomery is a product-focused iOS and Mobile DevOps engineer with over a decade of experience modernizing legacy codebases, building resilient release systems, and shipping production Swift features at scale. He has led end-to-end work at Tumblr and Automattic—delivering modular open-source SDKs, fully automated CI/CD pipelines, and high-availability macOS build clusters that dramatically reduced build times and hotfix frequency. Comfortable at the intersection of development and release engineering, he pairs systems-level architecture with hands-on feature work to improve accessibility, internationalization, and developer experience across global platforms. Notable outcomes include a Gravatar iOS SDK with strong community adoption, 100% automated release cycles supporting SPM and CocoaPods, and localization across 17 languages. He thrives in fast-moving, mission-driven teams where collaboration, observability, and pragmatic automation drive product quality. Outside of mobile code, his background in large-scale IT and security (PKI, 802.1X, MDM) gives him uncommon operational depth for shipping reliable consumer-facing apps.
