RockstarAndrew Rodrigues is a seasoned software entrepreneur and co-founder of NodeBB with 13 years of experience building real-time, community-first web platforms. He’s led full-stack engineering, product design, and enterprise integrations for major customers including Amazon, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Moz, T-Mobile and DBS Bank, consistently improving engagement and search traffic after migrations. Comfortable shipping across the stack, Andrew combines Node.js backend work, websocket/Redis architectures and responsive UI/component systems to scale forums that handle millions of users. His background spans startups, government and gaming, with projects ranging from NASA-funded e-learning integrations to gamified community themes for Adult Swim. Notably, he has repeatedly turned NodeBB into a commercial-grade platform for enterprises while preserving its open-source roots. Based in Toronto, he blends hands-on coding with product leadership and a track record of painless migrations and measurable user-impact.
