Top SchoolAndrey Sukhanov is an Applications Architect with over 12 years in advanced accelerator control and beam instrumentation, and a much longer career in nuclear physics experiments and data acquisition systems. Based at Brookhaven National Laboratory, he blends deep physics expertise with hands-on engineering across FPGA/SoC design, embedded systems, analog/digital electronics, and Python-based image and data analysis. He has built high-speed DAQ systems, silicon detector hardware, and control software (EPICS/ADO) while implementing role-based access and IoT integrations for complex facilities. Comfortable from SPICE simulations and PCB layout to Verilog/Migen/Amaranth and GUI development with Qt, he uniquely spans lab-grade hardware design and production-quality software. His background in GEANT4, ROOT, and multidisciplinary real-time OS work underpins a pragmatic approach to turning experimental requirements into robust, testable systems.
