Top SchoolAndrii Yakovlev is a Senior PHP Developer and Solution Architect with 10+ years building and modernizing web platforms, currently driving architecture at Dynabit Gaming. He has deep hands-on expertise in Symfony (2–6), Yii, and Phalcon, and a proven track record of upgrading legacy systems, refactoring codebases, and introducing testing and quality tooling. Andrii has held senior and leadership roles across gaming, SaaS, and enterprise projects — including CTO-level architecture work on internal ERP/CRM systems — which gives him a pragmatic blend of tactical coding and strategic system design. Based in Odesa, Ukraine, he pairs strong *nix administration roots with a penchant for turning brittle legacy apps into maintainable, testable services. Unusually for a backend-focused engineer, he has repeatedly led full rewrites and platform upgrades, demonstrating both patience for incremental improvements and the capability to execute big-bang transitions.
