Top SchoolAndry Rafaralahy is a Software Development Engineer at Amazon with 11 years of professional experience and a strong academic foundation in mathematics from Université de Lorraine and advanced studies at Université Paris-Saclay. He combines practical software engineering skills in Python, Java, JavaScript and Octave/Matlab with hands-on machine learning and NLP experience from internships at Dassault Systèmes and research work at Polytechnique. Based in Dublin, he is interested in data science and brings a researcher’s rigor to production-ready systems, bridging algorithmic thinking and engineering discipline. At Amazon he applies this blend to scalable, real-world problems, while his prior internships focused on applied NLP and research-driven prototypes. Notably, his career path reflects an atypical depth for someone still engaged in formal studies, signaling both ambition and the ability to balance research, industry, and ongoing learning. He is a pragmatic engineer who seeks to turn mathematical insight into impactful software.
