Summary
🤩
RockstarAndrzej Chmiel is a backend developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience building Java-based systems, currently contributing at Sanoma Learning while also teaching and mentoring Java students. He’s the creator of the ATS ecosystem—an evolving suite of Bukkit plugins, a custom command API (atsArguments) and an IntelliJ companion (atsCompanion) that moves runtime checks into IDE-time suggestions and quick fixes. His background spans full-stack work at companies like Sabre and Ocado, with strong practical experience in Java, OSGi, React/TypeScript front-ends and monitoring tooling. Andrzej combines a tinkerer’s curiosity (he can recreate discarded plugins in under an hour) with production-grade engineering, focusing on reducing code size and runtime vulnerabilities through tooling and automation. Based in Krakow, he pairs teaching and consulting roles with ongoing senior engineering work, reflecting both deep technical craft and a passion for developer experience.
