Top SchoolAndy Barrows is a Senior Software Engineer with a decade of experience building frontend systems, CI/CD pipelines, and integration testing for companies from newsrooms to e‑commerce and health tech. Currently leading Certara A.I., he combines practical ML/LLM product delivery with deep frontend expertise gained at Shopify and The Washington Post, where he drove high‑performance rendering and subscription experiences. He’s an avid contributor to the React, Cypress, and CircleCI ecosystems and has repeatedly led cross‑team inner‑sourcing and component library efforts to improve code reuse and developer velocity. Andy’s background in informatics and cybersecurity—earned while working full time—plus prior security and DevOps roles gives him a rare blend of user‑facing product craftsmanship and operational rigor.
