Top SchoolAndy Slezak is a Senior Software Engineer II with a decade of experience building full-stack, cloud-native web applications and IoT platforms, currently driving architecture and technical leadership for patient-facing digital products at NYU Langone Health. As co-founder and former CTO of CytexOne, he shipped patented network solutions, automated business workflows, and designed both the UX and marketing materials that helped the company dominate smart home automation. He favors AWS and infrastructure-as-code, combining serverless and modern JS front-ends to deliver performant, consumer-grade experiences—most recently shaping online scheduling at scale. Known as a "swiss-army-knife" and the "glue that can connect anything," he equally thrives mentoring teams and solving thorny solo engineering challenges. Beyond production systems, he maintains a hands-on portfolio of demos and tooling (React shopping cart, IoT integrations) that reflects a lifelong habit of building practical prototypes from concept to cloud.
