Senior🎓
Top SchoolAng Meng is an associate scientist and data scientist with 11 years of engineering-rooted experience, currently applying ML and bioinformatics expertise at MSD in Singapore. He has a strong academic foundation in biomedical engineering from NUS and Waterloo and practical experience developing AI-driven pipelines for neuroimaging diagnosis during his A*STAR dissertation and internship. His background bridges wet-lab product validation—through a Thermo Fisher internship—with computational radiomics, giving him a rare combination of instrument-level rigor and machine-learning model development. Notably, he investigated data harmonisation effects on multi-batch structural MRI classification, demonstrating an attention to real-world data heterogeneity often overlooked in academic models. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic problem-solver who translates complex clinical questions into reproducible analytic workflows.
