Top SchoolÁngel Cuartero is a Sr. Software Engineer based in Madrid with 12 years of professional experience and a career spanning embedded systems, telecoms, billing/CRM, and safety-critical simulator software. He combines hands-on development (C/C++, Python, Oracle, ETL) with project and product leadership, having moved between roles as developer, project manager, and technical lead at companies like Devo, Redknee and on defense and payment terminal projects. His background includes product certification and QA process design for smart-card systems and work on an EF-18 simulator—experience that gives him a rare blend of systems-level rigor and commercial delivery. A lifelong learner who deliberately seeks teammates smarter than himself, he studies microservices, Django and ML in gaps between day-to-day engineering and his hobbies of cooking, music and hobby game programming.
