Top SchoolAngelo Marchesin is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building high-performance mobile platforms and backend-driven UIs, now working at Microsoft from Barcelona. He led a ground-up rewrite of Glovo’s courier delivery flow using Kotlin coroutines and Jetpack Compose, cutting ANRs dramatically and scaling the product across 27 countries. His background spans mobile, embedded, and backend systems—from real-time photovoltaic monitoring and computer vision to modular Android architectures and Gradle tooling—giving him a rare full-stack perspective for mobile engineering. An active contributor to Android open-source (e.g., improvements to a popular Android spinner library), he combines pragmatic performance tuning with developer experience improvements like modularisation and code generation. Known for defining technical roadmaps and promoting community-driven OKRs, he pairs hands-on delivery with mentorship and cross-team collaboration.
