Top SchoolAngus Ireland is an L3 Support Software Engineer with nine years’ experience building and supporting cloud-native voice and messaging platforms for Tier 1–3 telcos. He advanced through Metaswitch into Microsoft and now Alianza, helping modernize legacy communications toward Telco 4.0 by combining hands-on troubleshooting with software development. Comfortable in high-stakes operator environments, he blends deep protocol and systems knowledge with pragmatic incident response to keep large-scale networks resilient. A St Andrews computer science graduate, he pairs academic foundations with real-world product support at scale. Colleagues rely on him to translate complex telecom faults into actionable fixes and sustainable software improvements. Quietly, he brings retail sales experience earlier in his career that honed customer empathy and clear communication under pressure.
