Anh Nguyen is an ARC DECRA Research Fellow and Head of the GPCR EcoPharmacology Lab at Monash, with nine years’ experience translating molecular pharmacology and computational modelling into next-generation GPCR drug discovery. She leads a multidisciplinary program combining molecular dynamics, docking, virtual screening, high-throughput assays and AI to discover allosteric and biased compounds for cardiovascular and neurological diseases. Her work uniquely bridges environmental health and pharmacology by investigating how micro- and nanoplastics perturb GPCR signalling and may contribute to disease. Trained with a PhD in Drug Discovery and roots in pharmacy and pharmacology across Vietnam and South Korea, she pairs deep experimental expertise with computational fluency uncommon in academic drug discovery labs.
