Top SchoolAnhad Gill is an engineer-turned-software builder with 8 years of experience architecting reliable backend systems and site reliability tooling across gaming and marketing platforms. Trained as a Materials Engineer at UBC and later upskilled in web development, he blends experimental rigor with practical software craftsmanship—moving from lab process improvements to production-grade APIs and SRE tooling at EA and Movable Ink. He’s launched products end-to-end at small teams and built performance-focused services using Ruby on Rails, Redis, and PostgreSQL, with strong emphasis on observability and scalability. Now independent, he builds software products for scale while maintaining a hands-on approach to devops and backend performance. Outside work he’s an avid tea drinker and amateur skateboarder—traits that reflect a mix of patience, curiosity and willingness to learn by falling forward.
