Top SchoolAnisa Sloan is a Senior Software Engineer based in Oakland with nine years of experience building immersive web and mobile experiences that prioritize engagement and accessibility. She blends front-end craftsmanship—React Native, Swift, HTML/CSS—with back-end skills in MySQL, PHP, ColdFusion, and API integrations to deliver end-to-end product features. At The Points Guy she progressed from Software Engineer to Senior Engineer, while concurrently shipping consumer-focused iOS/Android work and tooling at Souvinear and as a freelance web developer for creative clients. Her background in interactive digital media and hands-on AR/VR and After Effects animation work gives her a rare cross-disciplinary perspective on how design, storytelling, and engineering intersect. She’s motivated by turning devices that distract into tools for immersion, and consistently bridges creative production and robust engineering to create memorable user experiences.
