Top SchoolAnish Shanbhag is a software engineer at NVIDIA with six years of experience building high-performance systems at the intersection of distributed systems and machine learning. A Berkeley EECS graduate, he has hands-on experience optimizing AI inference in TensorRT and has interned on low-latency distributed SQL at Cockroach Labs. His background spans research—training LLMs on edge devices at Berkeley RISE Lab—to production engineering and leadership, having led multi-team web projects as VP of Engineering at Web Development at Berkeley. Comfortable across the full stack and systems-level performance tuning, he brings both academic rigor and product-focused delivery to challenging infrastructure problems. Notably, he pairs AI inference optimization with practical deployment experience informed by internships in quant and distributed database environments.
