Top SchoolAnkit Khambhati is a biomedical engineer and network neuroscientist with 14 years of experience bridging basic neural computation and clinically driven neuroengineering. Currently an Assistant Professor in Residence at UCSF, he leverages complex network analysis, neural dynamics, and machine learning to localize seizure-generating brain networks and improve surgical interventions for medically refractory epilepsy. His trajectory spans PhD work and multiple postdoctoral roles at University of Pennsylvania and UCSF, plus industry experience designing closed‑loop neuromodulation systems at Medtronic. Known for combining rigorous electrophysiology and theoretical modeling, he brings a rare mix of hands-on signal processing, translational clinical focus, and systems-level thinking to computational neurotechnologies.
