At Instacart he helped evolve Postgres-based search and storage (including vector embeddings and pgvector) and recently shifted back into product engineering for health-conscious users. Known for improving developer efficiency, reliability, and operational practices, he’s comfortable in Ruby, Go, Java and Python and has run on-call and infra teams. Based in Toronto with an IIT Bombay dual degree, he once scaled a youth coding school to 100+ students and exited the operation to pursue larger technical challenges.
