Senior🎓
Top SchoolAnn Kilzer is a senior software engineer and architect with over a decade of experience designing and delivering full-stack web applications and cloud-native systems across startups and global enterprises. Based in Tokyo, she blends hands-on coding (Golang, Java, TypeScript/React) with technical leadership—coaching early- to mid-career engineers, introducing E2E testing, and transforming teams from Waterfall to Agile. Her background includes building core REST APIs and security features as a first hire at a startup, safeguarding production search infrastructure and release processes at scale, and migrating secure AWS architectures for large e-commerce clients. She frequently pairs product, design, and security to ship authentication and platform tooling, and has driven measurable quality improvements such as raising release confidence by 75% and cutting code complexity by half. An open-source and community-minded engineer, she directs WomenInSoftwareEngineeringJP and keeps her skills sharp through regular coding and mentoring across multicultural teams.
