Top SchoolAnn Millspaugh is a product-focused engineering leader with 11 years of experience building high-scale geospatial data pipelines and developer platforms, currently shaping staff engagement and product strategy at Skylight in the San Francisco Bay Area. She combines hands-on engineering chops (Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS) with product leadership from Mapbox where she optimized tileset creation and managed services serving billions of requests. Her work bridges public-interest projects—CDC data infrastructure, open data and government transparency—and developer tooling, reflecting a commitment to movement-building around internet affordability and civic tech. A pragmatic manager and mentor, she pairs TDD/Agile practices with customer-driven discovery to deliver measurable performance gains and clearer go-to-market plans. Notably, her background spans community organizing and technical program delivery, giving her an uncommon fluency in both stakeholder advocacy and scalable system design.
