Top SchoolAnna Lessing is a founder and food innovator with eight years of experience marrying culinary craft, education, and sustainable entrepreneurship through her company VEEZE, which produces authentically aged vegan cheeses using real cultures. Based in Oldenburg, Germany, she blends a formal background in performing arts and German studies (MEd) with certified expertise in vegan nutrition to design plant-based foods that honor traditional techniques. Alongside founding VEEZE, she regularly teaches vegan cooking at a respected local culinary school and previously led theater-based language programs for refugee children, reflecting a strong commitment to community impact and education. Her approach is both experimental and discipline-driven: she applies fermentation and aging methods more common in dairy to elevate plant-based alternatives. Known for combining appetite-pleasing product development with sustainability goals, she brings startup grit and pedagogical strengths to scaling foodtech innovations.
