Top SchoolAnshu Jalan is a Senior Blockchain Engineer with nine years of software experience and six years focused on DeFi and rollup research, currently driving rollup innovation at Nethermind from Kolkata. He has led production-grade AMM and concentrated liquidity builds at Plenty Labs that secured $3M funds and handled $100M+ lifetime volume, and co-founded Kickflow, a quadratic funding platform that distributed grants and grew a 2,000-strong community. At Nethermind he implemented based preconfirmation, lookahead proposals, same-slot L1↔L2 composability, and blob aggregation—reducing Taiko mainnet block time from 12s to 2s and enabling cross-rollup efficiency gains. Comfortable spanning smart contracts, off-chain node logic, and protocol design, he blends research contributions (EIP-7702 blob aggregation, universal registry work) with hands-on delivery of modular rollup stacks and finality gadgets. Known for shipping secure, auditable systems, he pairs product-focused engineering with active open-source collaboration across Taiko and the broader Ethereum research ecosystem.
