Top SchoolAnshumali Shaw is a Senior Software Engineer based in Bengaluru with 8 years of experience building and operating high-availability distributed systems that power millions of daily journeys at redBus. A Computer Science graduate and competitive programmer (ICPC regionals qualifier, CodeChef 3-star), he combines strong algorithmic thinking with practical engineering—having redesigned fare-sync pipelines to cut failures by 95% and built anomaly detection and onboarding platforms that scale. He moved rapidly from SDET to Senior Engineer by learning Java, Kafka, and distributed tracing through diagnosing production issues, and he reduced LLM evaluation time from weeks to hours with a bespoke framework. Beyond shipping resilient backend services and event-driven architectures, he mentors students, writes about engineering, and keeps sharpening skills through open coding and ML experimentation. Colleagues describe him as an ownership-driven engineer who thrives on scaling hard backend problems while minimizing manual toil.
