Top SchoolAnthony Liekens is an AI/ML solutions strategist with 14 years of interdisciplinary experience turning novel ideas into tangible products across smart cities, IoT, and healthcare. Currently shaping job-matching intelligence at theMatchBox while running independent R&D consulting through Tangible, he blends hands-on prototyping, system architecture and research-led strategy to de-risk early-stage innovations. His background spans postdoctoral biomedical data integration to directing R&D and “mad scientist” roles in corporate innovation labs, giving him a rare mix of academic rigor and product-focused pragmatism. A founder of Makerspace Antwerpen, he’s fluent in bridging hardware and software development and in mentoring students to transfer digital skills into physical prototypes. Based in Schilde, Belgium, he routinely advises organizations on emerging tech adoption and has a habit of making “blah-blah” ideas go “boem-boem.”
