Senior🎓
Top SchoolAnthony Makaj is an Azure-focused DevOps engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure with ARM templates, and migrating SQL Server workloads to Azure. Currently at WTW, he combines .NET pipeline orchestration with practical data engineering support—managing production SQL Server requests and database migrations. He brings a software-first perspective from earlier roles developing C# and TypeScript APIs and UIs, and has demonstrable test-driven discipline (raising code coverage on a key internal tool). Comfortable bridging product and operations, he has also automated operational workflows (e.g., blob transfers and timesheet automation) that cut manual effort significantly. Based in New York and a Fordham CS magna cum laude graduate, he blends strong academic foundations with pragmatic DevOps delivery.
