Top SchoolAnthony Terruso is a Senior Software Engineer based in New York with a decade of hands-on experience building full-stack web applications using React, Redux, Node.js and TypeScript. An MFA alum from Parsons with a research stint at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center, he blends design thinking and HCI sensibilities with pragmatic engineering—improving performance, accessibility (AA/AAA) and maintainability across large codebases. He has led platform rebuilds and migrations (including Next.js SSR and React functional component transitions), drove measurable gains like a 40% Lighthouse improvement, and architected robust state and data-fetching layers with Redux and React Query. Comfortable in both agency and product environments, he’s shipped features for clients like Citibank, McDonald’s and BMW and now contributes at scale inside Rockstar Games. Unusually for an engineer, his background spans creative writing and humanities study at Oxford, informing a human-centered approach to technical problems.
