Top SchoolAnthony Tibbs is a lawyer and accessibility advocate with 11 years of experience practicing civil and commercial litigation, including class actions, across multiple Canadian jurisdictions. A McGill-trained dual-degree (civil and common law) graduate with a magna cum laude B.Com from the University of Ottawa, he blends rigorous legal analysis with strong business acumen to advise clients on risk, contracts, and strategic litigation decisions. He leads courtroom and tribunal work from provincial superior courts to federal bodies, and regularly designs cost/benefit frameworks for senior decision-makers. Beyond practice, Anthony serves in leadership and treasury roles for national disability organizations and has driven research and policy work to advance accessibility, including contributions to coalitions that influenced federal accessibility legislation. Known as a practical problem solver who tinkers and learns across domains, he couples hands-on operational oversight with policy advocacy to create tangible inclusion outcomes. An uncommon strength is his ability to translate complex legal and financial matters into actionable guidance for nonprofit boards and diverse stakeholders.
